Mark Surrette is managing partner of the Halifax office. With almost 25 years of executive search experience, Mark has recruited more CEOs and Senior Executives than any other consultant in Atlantic Canada. As a result, he has worked closely with many of the region's boards of directors and senior management teams recruiting key executives from across Canada and the US.
He has worked hard to earn the distinction of being named one of Atlantic Canada's Top 50 CEOs three times in the past five years. Known as an energetic and persuasive organizational guru with a strong track record of community involvement and corporate results, Mark has strategically developed one of the region's pre-eminent HR consulting firms by continually anticipating and evolving the firm to meet the changing needs of the Eastern Canadian marketplace.
Mark is a strong advocate for Atlantic Canada and the lifestyle it provides. He is also a firm believer in adding value back into the community. Most recently he served as Chair of the "Great Big Gig" for three years and under his leadership the event raised over $340,000 for the IWK Health Centre. He recently concluded his two year term as Chair of the Board of Governors for the Junior Achievement Hall of Fame Dinner for Nova Scotia. He currently serves as Past President of the Atlantic Chapter for the Young President's Association (YPO) and is entering his second 4 year term as the Honourary Consul General of Japan at Halifax.
