Snack Alliance Inc. (SAI) is a manufacturer of branded and private-label consumer snack food products under brand names such as Nalley's, Thin & Crispy and Clover Club. With headquarters in Vancouver, British Columbia, SAI has manufacturing facilities in Hermiston, Oregon and Bristol, Virginia, along with sales offices throughout the western United States. Established in 1996, SAI has grown into a thriving business that employs approximately 350 full- and part-time staff. Its product lines include potato chips, tortilla chips, cheese snacks, corn chips, popcorn, and several other innovative products. Its portfolio of brands include: Rice Works, Thin & Crispy, Sports Bar, Granny Goose, Clover Club, Laura Scudder's, and Poker Snacks.

Director, Marketing

The Director, Marketing is accountable to the President for providing effective and dynamic hands-on marketing leadership to ensure the successful launch of Rice Works, a patented snack product with a $60 million market potential. In addition, the Director, Marketing will play an active role in the operation leadership of the company and contribute to the achievement of strategic and business goals.

As the ideal candidate, you are a creative, entrepreneurial and disciplined marketer with significant consumer packaged goods experience. You have clearly demonstrated your ability to bring to the North American market a unique product that sells through the mass merchandiser and grocery channels. Paramount to success has been an ability to leverage the market spend and strategic relationships. As an entrepreneurial marketer, you have been responsible for all aspects of the marketing program including market research, segmentation, product development, packaging, pricing, branding, advertising and promotions, and merchandising.

From a personal perspective, you are a communicator who is open to listening, learning and sharing information. Your collaborative, positive, approachable attitude are the hallmarks of your team orientation. With very high energy and a capacity for work, you demonstrate a proactive, relentless sense of urgency and an ability to deliver on both a strategic and operational level.
