Simon Fraser University invites applications and nominations for the position of Dean of the Faculty of Business Administration for a term of five years commencing September 1, 2007.

Located in Vancouver, Canada's gateway to the Asia Pacific rim and home to the 2010 Winter Olympics, Simon Fraser University encompasses three distinctive campuses and enrolls some 3,600 graduate students and 20,000 undergraduates.
The Faculty of Business Administration is recognized for its innovative programming and academic excellence. Its complement of 73 faculty offers baccalaureate, masters and Ph.D. programs to 2,000 undergraduate and 320 graduate students.
- The Undergraduate program areas of concentration include Accounting, Finance, International Business, Management and Organization Studies, Management Information Systems, Management Science, and Marketing.
- At the graduate level, a portfolio of MBA programs, a Masters and a Graduate Diploma, as well as the Ph.D. Program make their home in a newly renovated historic building - the Segal Graduate School of Business, located in the heart of Vancouver's business district.
The Faculty has initiated the use of distance education, continuing education, extension credit and international activities, and is committed to a similarly broad array of external partnerships and research initiatives.
The successful candidate for this position will be an energetic, creative, collegial leader with an outstanding record of research and teaching accomplishments and a commitment to articulate and promote a dynamic academic plan for the Faculty. The University will appoint an individual with outstanding skills in developing public and private sector partnerships, whose academic credentials are consistent with appointment to the RBC Professorship, and who enjoys international recognition and visibility within the academic and business communities. As the executive officer of the Faculty, the Dean will report to the Vice-President, Academic and Provost and participate in the work of the University's senior academic planning and administrative committees.
