Alberta Finance, Edmonton - The Automobile Insurance Rate Board regulates premium rates for basic coverage, monitors optional premium coverage and investigates other automobile insurance matters in Alberta.
Your strategic leadership is key in developing, interpreting and implementing analytical and administrative system supports, representing the board, the government and the program and balancing competing interests of the stakeholders. Reporting to the Chair of the Board, you will lead and manage operations, provide support to the board and coordinate public hearing processes for the Automobile Insurance Dispute Resolution Committee. In promoting a fair and transparent automobile insurance regime you will contribute to increasing public awareness and building positive working relations with government, industry and consumers.
Ideally, your background includes extensive senior management experience managing a small to mid sized organization with accountability to a board and experience analyzing, interpreting and assessing complex financial data that impacts all stakeholders. The demands of the position require a progressive approach, the ability to advance an evolving program and exceptional communication and consultative skills.
